Breakup Therapy
I developed a unique 6-session structured breakup therapy protocol that I employ with couples who have made the choice to separate and are trying to heal and move on from their relationship. I have found that this work has enabled people to both make meaning of the past as well as forge new paths more efficiently. Breakups are painful, but they are also times of great opportunity for personal growth. The breakup work is particularly helpful when the couple will need to coparent together. This article in the WSJ and this one in the Wa Post describe my specific break-up work, as well as this podcast. I have also written or been quoted about breakups in the following publications.
